Sustainability is a concept for products, goods and services development that involves meeting today’s needs without jeopardizing future generations’ ability to meet their own needs. As a concept, sustainability recognizes the exhaustible resource environment. It is therefore important to make rational use of the environment and its resources and to protect this environment, our environment, humankind and all living things for the benefit of our earth.

It also examines the interface between nutrition and the wider culture. Later on, biological and chemicals have been applied to the cooking of molecular cuisine, but gastronomy is far wider than that.
